KEPCO Ends Abuse of Power Practices... "Leaders of Integrity Culture Take the Lead" Lee Jung-bok, Acting President of Korea Electric Power Corporation, is conducting integrity training for senior executives.

Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) announced on the 26th that it has implemented 'Anti-Corruption and Integrity Education' to break the practice of power abuse and establish a transparent organization.


The training held on the 24th at KEPCO Vision Hall was attended by Acting President Lee Jeong-bok, Standing Auditor Jeon Sang-sang, and other executives and mid-level managers at headquarters. Branch office chiefs completed the training through real-time video education. The training was conducted by Kim Joo-won, an instructor from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, who explained anti-corruption systems such as the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, and the Code of Conduct.


Acting President Lee Jeong-bok stated, "Power abuse can destroy the positive image a company has built in an instant," and urged, "Leaders should take the lead in establishing a culture of mutual respect through proactive practice and spreading a culture of integrity."
