Three Fields Including Blasting, Power, and Spray... 10 Million Won Prize and Commendation Awarded
Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, a subsidiary of HD Hyundai, is actively working to improve the skills of foreign workers.
According to Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries on the 20th, an award ceremony was held on the 19th in the main building's large conference room for the recent painting skills competition conducted for foreign workers from in-house partner companies.

The winning teams by category were △ Kim Slab from Sion ENG (Uzbekistan) in Blasting (removing rust from block surfaces) △ Johidjon from Jeonghoo Industry (Uzbekistan) in Power (removing rust from welding areas) △ Basel and Mohamed from Yeongdo ENG (Yemen) in Spray (painting), totaling three teams.
A total of 54 participants competed in the event, with 9 in the Blasting category, 17 in the Power category, and 14 teams in the Spray category.
The winning teams in each category received prize money of 1 million KRW each, with total awards amounting to approximately 10 million KRW, and commendations from the department heads were given to the top three winners.
A representative from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries stated, “We will continue to support the skill improvement of foreign workers, strengthen Korean language education, collaborate with local governments to improve living conditions, and do our best to secure a stable workforce.”
