'Alpecin Hybrid Caffeine Shampoo' Expands Sales Channels... Enters Emart Traders

Dr. Wolff Korea, the official Korean branch of the German personal care company Dr. Wolff, has expanded its distribution network by selling the 'Alpecin Hybrid Caffeine Shampoo' at Emart Traders stores nationwide.

At the newly launched Emart Traders, following the previously released Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo C1, a bundle package of two XXL (375ml) bottles, which is 50% larger than the standard size, has been introduced to cater to Korean men who experience significant stress from dandruff.

Produced 100% in Germany, showcasing German technology, the 'Alpecin Hybrid Caffeine Shampoo' is optimized for scalp care for men. According to officials, with just 2 minutes of daily use for over 3 months, it allows easy scalp care in everyday life.

It is especially effective in relieving dry or sensitive scalp, itching, and dandruff, while also providing rich moisture, helping to maintain strong hair, scalp hydration, and styling.

The shampoo contains a caffeine complex, a key ingredient for hair and scalp health, which is a proprietary ingredient of Dr. Wolff holding a European patent and has been featured in renowned international academic journals. Additionally, it includes various ingredients beneficial for hair and scalp health such as zinc PCA and niacinamide.

The Alpecin marketing manager at Dr. Wolff Korea stated, “In addition to entering Emart Traders, we will strive to offer high-quality products to many consumers through further channel expansion. We also urge customers to purchase through official sales channels such as offline stores like Homeplus and Costco, as well as the official online store, to avoid damage caused by indiscriminate counterfeit products in some countries.”

The 'Alpecin Hybrid Caffeine Shampoo' gained media exposure during famous martial arts athletes' matches in 2017, creating the issue of “The true winner is Alpecin,” and it is a men's shampoo that caused sold-out situations at Olive Young stores nationwide.

Meanwhile, the Dr. Wolff Group, with a tradition of 118 years, has maintained the number one position in the German shampoo market for over 10 years since launching the 'Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo C1' in 2005. The company has expanded its products to more than 62 countries worldwide, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Korea.

Furthermore, Alpecin’s flagship product, Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo C1, achieved a 98.9% satisfaction rate for “strong hair” among 100 members of the 'GQ' review panel, gaining high satisfaction from consumers in Korea as well.
