Five Customers Injured and Receiving Hospital Treatment

A ceiling collapse accident occurred at a restaurant in Incheon.

According to the Incheon Fire Headquarters on the 14th, at around 5:20 PM on the 13th, the plywood ceiling material suddenly collapsed at a restaurant in Juan-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon.

As a result of the accident, five customers dining at the restaurant were injured in their shoulders and knees and complained of headaches. They were transported to the hospital by the 119 emergency squad and received treatment.

Photos released from the accident scene showed the collapsed ceiling material scattered over the restaurant tables and air conditioners, creating a mess.

A representative from the Incheon Fire Headquarters stated, "There were a total of 10 people in the restaurant at the time, and there were no serious injuries," adding, "It is presumed that the roof did not collapse due to heavy rain."
