Virtual Human Zero, Ambassador for the 'Daejeon 0 O'clock Festival' Promotion Activities

Virtual human Zero will serve as the ambassador for the ‘Daejeon 0 O’clock Festival’.


On the 11th, Daejeon City announced that it appointed virtual human Zero as the ambassador to promote the ‘Daejeon 0 O’clock Festival’ online and strengthen communication with the MZ generation.

Zero is a virtual human developed using artificial intelligence technology and will be the main figure in SNS promotions and various promotional videos.


Additionally, at the event venue, Zero will appear in a 3D hologram media show, voluntarily serving as a promotional model to introduce advanced science and technology to visitors.


Zero was developed by ad tech specialist company Coswill, and the virtual human’s name was chosen based on the English name of the ‘Daejeon 0 O’clock Festival’.


The Daejeon 0 O’clock Festival will be held from the 11th to the 17th of next month in the area around Jungang-ro and the old downtown commercial district. During the festival, Daejeon City plans to close a 1 km section of road connecting Daejeon Station to the former Chungnam Provincial Office.


Mayor Jang Woo Lee of Daejeon said, “Zero will become a new icon of the ‘Daejeon 0 O’clock Festival’ and serve as a messenger to promote Daejeon as the science capital of Korea. We will strive to make the festival a place of harmony where the young energy of the MZ generation overflows and everyone can enjoy together.”
