JW Pharmaceutical announced on the 7th that it will hold the "1st HiMomBand Volleyball Tournament" for women's recreational sports club teams and youth club teams.
The HiMomBand Volleyball Tournament is an amateur volleyball competition that aims to expand the base and opportunities for women's recreational sports and to support the activation and development of youth volleyball. The tournament, held at the Gwangmyeong Citizens Gymnasium indoor arena, will be conducted in two sessions: the adult women's division on the 15th and 16th, and the youth division on the 22nd and 23rd. The adult women's division will feature 18 women's club teams (about 270 participants), while the youth division will have 24 youth club teams (about 360 participants), all set to showcase the skills they have honed over time.
In particular, on the 16th, when the adult women's division matches take place, the V-League men's team Hyundai Capital Skywalkers professional volleyball players will visit the venue to cheer on the participating players. In addition, various events such as volleyball games with spectators and fan signing sessions will be held to enhance the excitement of the tournament.
JW Pharmaceutical signed an official sponsorship contract with the Hyundai Capital Skywalkers professional volleyball team for the 2023-2024 season in May and is expanding consumer engagement through sports marketing. Through this, they are conducting various online and offline promotions targeting professional volleyball fans and continuing activities to revitalize and broaden the base of amateur volleyball.
