Jeep announced on the 5th that it will conduct a special promotion supporting the individual consumption tax (ICT) in July to ease the burden on consumers following the end of the ICT reduction.
Starting this month, the ICT rate will increase from 3.5% to 5%, but to allow customers to continue enjoying the ICT reduction benefits in July, Jeep will cover the increase in the ICT rate. Depending on the model, customers can receive support ranging from 550,000 KRW to a maximum of 1,430,000 KRW.
The flagship sport utility vehicle (SUV), the Grand Cherokee, offers a maximum benefit of 1,100,000 KRW, allowing the Overland 3.6 trim to be purchased for 83,600,000 KRW. The plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) model, Grand Cherokee 4xe Summit Reserve trim, receives the highest benefit of 1,430,000 KRW during the July promotion, selling for 110,470,000 KRW. The Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve 3.6 trim is supported with 1,287,000 KRW, making it available for 97,513,000 KRW.
The off-roader Wrangler receives support ranging from 858,000 KRW to 990,000 KRW depending on the trim. The Rubicon 2-door can be purchased for 68,987,000 KRW, and the Overland 4-door Power Top model is available for 76,510,000 KRW. The Wrangler 4xe offers benefits ranging from 1,144,000 KRW to 1,276,000 KRW depending on the trim.
The Renegade receives support from 550,000 KRW up to a maximum of 660,000 KRW. The Longitude FWD is available for 41,350,000 KRW, the Limited FWD for 44,795,000 KRW, and the Limited AWD for 47,740,000 KRW.
