Hampyeong-gun, 30th Deputy Governor Im Man-gyu Inauguration

Im Deputy Governor: "Building a 'New Leap, Hopeful Hampyeong'... Will Devote All Efforts"

Lim Man-gyu (57), former Director of Safety Policy Division of Jeonnam Province, was inaugurated as the 30th Deputy Governor of Hampyeong County.


Hampyeong County, Jeonnam Province, announced on the 3rd that Deputy Governor Lim Man-gyu began his official duties immediately after his inauguration greeting at the regular morning assembly held that morning.


Appointed according to the personnel order of Jeonnam Province, Deputy Governor Lim received his appointment certificate from Mayor Lee Sang-ik of Hampyeong County that morning and started his work.

Deputy Governor Lim began his public service career in February 1992 in Yeongam County and transferred to Jeonnam Province in 1995.


He has accumulated extensive practical experience through key positions in Jeonnam Province, including the Innovation Economy Division, Social Disaster Division of the Provincial Safety Office, and Safety Policy Division.


He is recognized for his proper public service ethics and outstanding work ability, having received awards such as the Prime Minister’s Commendation for Exemplary Public Officials and the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award for Excellence in Joint Evaluation of Local Governments.


After his inauguration, Deputy Governor Lim plans to visit major institutions and social organizations and carefully review key county government projects and departmental pending issues.


Lim Man-gyu said, “I feel a heavy responsibility as I take office as Deputy Governor of Hampyeong County at an important time marking the first anniversary of the 8th elected administration,” and expressed his aspiration, “I promise to work diligently together with Mayor Lee Sang-ik and fellow public officials to build a ‘New Leap, Hopeful Hampyeong.’”
