Female body found at Jamsil Seokchon Lake... "Identity and other details under investigation"

A female body was found at Seokchon Lake in Songpa-gu, Seoul, prompting the police to launch an investigation.

According to the fire department and police on the 3rd, at around 8:18 a.m., a Lotte World employee discovered the female body near the entrance of Lotte World Magic Island at Seokchon Lake West Lake and reported it to the police.

The fire authorities recovered the body at around 8:40 a.m. and handed it over to the police.

A police official stated, "There are no signs of criminal suspicion on the body," adding, "We will identify the person and investigate the specific cause of death."
