Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 30th that it will start a non-face-to-face stock account opening service with K-Bank.
Through this partnership, K-Bank customers can conveniently open a Korea Investment & Securities stock trading account within the K-Bank app. Korea Investment & Securities already has related partnerships with KakaoBank and Toss Bank, allowing customers to open accounts through all domestic internet banks.
A commemorative event for the partnership will also be held. Until the end of next month, among customers who trade overseas stocks worth more than 100,000 KRW through stock accounts opened via K-Bank, 50 will be selected by lottery to receive one share of stock from Apple, Tesla, or Google (Alphabet C). There is no separate event application process, and existing stock account holders can also participate.
Kim Seong-hwan, Head of the Individual Customer Group, said, "We will continue to provide differentiated services to customers through various partnerships and strengthen our digital financial capabilities."
