Launch of 'LG Smart Cam,' a Dedicated Camera for LG TVs

From 1:1 Home PT to Video Conferencing, Enhancing Customized Customer Experience

LG Electronics is launching a dedicated camera, the ‘LG Smart Cam,’ to enhance customers' TV usage experience.

Through the LG Smart Cam, an exclusive camera for LG TVs, customers enjoy personalized experiences such as exercising while comparing their movements with home training coaching videos or conveniently conducting video conferences on the TV.

The LG Smart Cam supports Full HD (1920 x 1080) high-resolution shooting and is equipped with dual microphones. Optimized for LG Smart TV’s proprietary platform webOS, it can be easily used by connecting to the TV without installing any additional software.

Among webOS applications, customers using home training and dance lesson platforms can learn more effectively by watching their own movements and coaching videos simultaneously with the Smart Cam. The LG Smart Cam’s camera and microphone also enable remote one-on-one personal lessons.

It is also useful for video conferencing at home. By connecting the Smart Cam to an LG TV, users can conveniently view meeting materials and participant videos simultaneously on a large screen. When not in use, the built-in cover blocks the camera lens to prevent hacking.

This product is compatible with all LG Smart TVs released since 2022.
