Including the 546 cases previously approved, the total amounts to 615 cases. These cases have been immediately forwarded to the respective district courts and tax offices for measures such as rescheduling the auction dates.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, a total of 2,952 people applied for recognition as victims of Jeonse fraud to local governments from the enforcement of the Special Act on Jeonse Fraud Victim Support on the 1st until the 16th.

The committee plans to decide on the first Jeonse fraud victims since the enactment of the Special Act at the 2nd plenary meeting scheduled for the 28th. Once recognized as victims, they will receive support such as preemptive purchase rights and low-interest loans for auction funds.

Additionally, the Ministry of Land plans to simplify procedures so that applicants can apply for existing financial and emergency housing support programs without separately obtaining a Jeonse fraud confirmation certificate from the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG).
