475 million KRW for vulnerable groups, 221 million KRW for social welfare facilities and institutions
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: Beomsoo Park, hereinafter Hanul Headquarters) delivered donations totaling 696 million KRW to 13 social welfare facilities and institutions in Uljin-gun, including the Uljin-gun Comprehensive Volunteer Center (Director: Taeyoon Jang) on the 21st.

Of the donation, 475 million KRW will be used to support housing environment improvement projects such as home repairs and disinfection for vulnerable groups, and 221 million KRW will be allocated to support activities of outstanding local volunteer groups and social contribution programs of welfare institutions and facilities.
Director Taeyoon Jang said, “The donated funds will greatly help neighbors such as low-income youth, single-parent families, and elderly residents in nursing facilities,” and added, “We are grateful to Hanul Headquarters and its employees for their generous support to those in need.”
Head Beomsoo Park stated, “We hope that the quality of life for neighbors in difficulty within the jurisdiction will improve through various projects and welfare programs,” and said, “Hanul Headquarters will continue to promote diverse social contribution activities for neighbors who are struggling and in need.”
So far, Hanul Headquarters has donated about 2.6 billion KRW to the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea and has been leading efforts to enhance welfare for vulnerable groups in the Uljin area.
