Cheongsong-gun Ranks No. 1 in Provincial Fruit Production and Distribution Evaluation

Gyeongbuk Province Fruit Production and Distribution Support Project (FTA Project) Receives 'Best Excellence' in Self-Evaluation

Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, ranked first in the self-evaluation of the 2022 Fruit Production and Distribution Support Project (FTA Project) conducted in April and received the highest grade.

This evaluation was conducted as a comprehensive assessment of the entire project for 19 cities and counties in Gyeongbuk Province, including the execution performance of national and provincial budgets, compliance with implementation guidelines, participation performance of Gyeongbuk Union projects by city and county organizations, and the appropriateness of project management. Cheongsong-gun received consistently high scores in all categories, securing first place.

In particular, according to the evaluation results, the county is expected to receive incentives such as an allocation of 10 million KRW for project management expenses this year and a 20% increase in budget support for the next year's project expenses.

County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee said, “Despite recent difficulties caused by natural disasters, ranking first in Gyeongbuk Province in this evaluation is the result of Cheongsong-gun's differentiated strategy in the fruit sector, continuous interest, and steady efforts. We will continue to do our best by promoting field-tailored agricultural policies for the development of fruit farming in Cheongsong-gun.”
