BBQ Partners with Ministry of Employment and Labor to Establish Proper Labor Order

Memorandum of Understanding to Enhance Awareness of the '4 Basic Labor Orders'

Genesis BBQ Group announced on the 21st that it will sign a business agreement with the Ministry of Employment and Labor to raise awareness of the '4 Basic Labor Orders.'

The 4 Basic Labor Orders are fundamental compliance matters in the workplace, including the preparation and delivery of employment contracts, issuance of wage statements, adherence to minimum wage, and prevention of wage arrears. Through this agreement, Genesis BBQ Group plans to take the lead in spreading awareness of the 4 Basic Labor Orders among its franchise stores and creating an environment that complies with them.

Additionally, to improve franchise stores' awareness of labor orders, educational materials related to the 4 Basic Labor Orders will be registered, promoted on the internal website, and included in training for new franchise stores.

A BBQ official stated, "Through this agreement, we will strengthen education and increase franchise stores' understanding and interest in basic labor orders," adding, "Furthermore, we will strive to establish proper labor standards and correct labor order in the food service industry."
