'Suncheonman International Garden Expo Commemorative Coin' Distribution Begins on the 26th of Next Month

On the 21st, the Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corporation announced that the '2023 Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo Commemorative Coins (2-piece set, total 1,000 pieces)' will be distributed starting from the 27th of next month.

The commemorative coins will be distributed to winners of a public lottery. The public lottery was held because the number of reservation applications exceeded the issuance quantity.

The Korea Minting Corporation conducted the public lottery using a computer program in the presence of its executives and employees, as well as officials from the Bank of Korea.

The winners will be announced on the 27th of this month through the Korea Minting Corporation's online store, NongHyup Bank, and Woori Bank websites, and the distribution of the commemorative coins will begin on the 26th of next month.

Meanwhile, the Korea Minting Corporation released the commemorative coins both as single items (Silver Coin I and II, total 4,000 pieces) and as a 2-piece set. Among these, the single items will be distributed without a public lottery since the number of reservation applications was less than the issuance quantity.

However, even for the single items, if the reservation applicant's information was duplicated or submitted through abnormal methods, the actual distribution quantity may be less than the number of applications.
