Recharge delivery calls at 50% discounted price
Starting from Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Seoul, gradually expanding
Tmap Mobility announced on the 20th that it will launch the Tmap (TMAP) electric vehicle charging delivery service.
The electric vehicle charging delivery service is the first result since partnering with the startup TBU last year. As long as the charging delivery vehicle (van-sized) can access the location, users can call for charging anywhere. The service is available throughout Seoul and Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, securing higher coverage compared to other companies. The service area is planned to be expanded further in the future.
Tmap Mobility expects the convenience for electric vehicle users to improve significantly with the launch of this service. The domestic charging infrastructure is installed at a ratio of 0.4 chargers per electric vehicle. In reality, three electric vehicle users have to compete for one charger.
In particular, fast charging infrastructure accounts for only about 8% of the total, and users had to check in advance whether the charger was broken or if other electric vehicle users were using it before visiting the charging station, which was inconvenient.
The charging delivery service can be used by selecting the charging delivery icon in the 'Electric Vehicle Charging' menu within the TMAP application and then choosing the desired product.
Tmap Mobility is holding a special half-price discount event to commemorate the launch. During the event period, users can use the charging delivery service at a 50% discount from the regular price.
