Direct and Indirect Investment Also Underway
Hana Bank is launching a program to discover and support promising startups.
On the 19th, Hana Bank announced that it has selected 20 startups to participate in the 14th cohort of the 'Hana 1Q Agile Lab.'
The selected startups will be provided with individual office spaces called Smart Working Spaces, along with ▲collaboration with operational departments of Hana Financial Group affiliates ▲management and tax consulting from external experts ▲support for overseas expansion utilizing Hana Bank's global network.
In addition, major affiliates of Hana Financial Group, including Hana Bank, plan to collaborate with the startups selected for the 'Hana 1Q Agile Lab' and make direct and indirect investments.
Among the 14th cohort participants, generative AI-based chatbot portal service company ‘Ruiten Technologies,’ art content platform ‘Easel,’ and real estate proptech solution provider ‘Oasis Business’ have already attracted equity investments from Hana Bank.
Kim So-jung, Vice President of Hana Bank’s Digital Group, stated, "Through collaboration with startups achieving innovation in various fields, we are building a future-oriented advanced financial platform that proactively internalizes differentiated technologies and services.
