Issunhee Gangbuk-gu Mayor Awards Appointment Certificates to 5 New Members of the Childcare Policy Committee

On the 14th, Issunhee Gangbuk-gu Mayor awarded appointment certificates to 5 new members of the Childcare Policy Committee in the mayor's office.

The district's Childcare Policy Committee establishes annual childcare plans and decides on major matters such as the establishment and consignment of public daycare centers and childcare fees.

Last year, the district amended the Infant and Toddler Care Act ordinance to ensure rational decision-making and stable operation, expanding and strengthening the number of committee members from 15 to 20.

The newly appointed members are Jang Kyung-hee, Director of the District Childcare Support Center; Byun Hae-sook, President of the District Public Daycare Center Association; Kim Eun-jung, childcare teacher at Joyful Forest Daycare Center; Kim Ji-ae, parent at the District Haemaji Daycare Center; and Kim Jung-sook, parent at Haewon Daycare Center.

Issunhee Gangbuk-gu Mayor said, "Please take the lead in creating a safe and high-quality childcare environment where children are happy and parents can trust and leave their children."
