Gwangjin-gu Holds ‘2023 i.M Job Fair’
On the 23rd, 165 i.M Taxi Drivers to be Hired at the 2nd Floor Auditorium of Dongbu Women’s Development Center
Applicants aged 40 and above with a Class 1 Regular Driver’s License Eligible; No Taxi Driving Experience Required
Pre-registration by the 22nd Enables Pre-matching Considering Desired Work Locations
Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will hold the ‘2023 i.M Job Fair’ on the 23rd to hire 165 full-time i.M taxi drivers.
The ‘2023 i.M Job Fair’ is a collaborative effort between Gwangjin-gu, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and i.M Jin Mobility to provide reemployment opportunities for the increasing number of middle-aged job seekers while addressing the labor shortage in the taxi industry.
At the fair, after the recruitment briefing, interviews and hiring will proceed immediately without a document screening process. The district aims to offer a practical and customized recruitment platform beneficial to both companies and job seekers through this approach.
Eligible participants are job seekers aged 40 or older holding a Class 1 regular driver’s license. Even those without prior taxi driving experience can apply to become i.M taxi drivers.
Successful candidates will be employed as full-time drivers operating the premium 4th generation Carnival van taxi, i.M. Work locations include the corporate taxi companies operating i.M taxis in Songpa-gu, Gangdong-gu, Seongdong-gu, and Dobong-gu.
Job seekers wishing to participate should pre-register by the 22nd via the QR code on the poster or through the Gwangjin-gu Job Center. Pre-registrants will be pre-matched considering their preferred work locations.
On the day of the fair, the 23rd, on-site registration is also available. Those who have not pre-registered should bring their driver’s license and driving experience certificate to the 2nd floor auditorium of the Dongbu Women’s Development Center to register and participate.
