On the 13th, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it has completed the establishment of an online reservation system for park facilities and will begin full-scale operation starting this month.
Until now, residents who wanted to use park facilities for various events such as cultural performances and campaigns had to go through cumbersome procedures including checking reservation status by phone, sending application forms via fax or email, and obtaining usage permission.
To resolve these inconveniences, Buk-gu completed the establishment of an online reservation system at the end of last month, allowing any resident to check the real-time reservation status of park facilities and apply for use.
The parks available for reservation include six parks with performance venues: Bonchon Neighborhood Park, Munhwa Neighborhood Park, Sinyong Bitgoeul Neighborhood Park, Ilgok 2nd Neighborhood Park, and Yongheung Children's Park.
The reservation system can be accessed through the reservation application service menu on the Buk-gu Office website, and features a responsive web design, making it convenient to use not only on computers but also on various mobile devices.
A Buk-gu official stated, "We have established the reservation system so that residents can use park facilities comfortably and easily."
