Seunghui Lee, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, encouraged the participants at the opening ceremony of the 14th Leaders Academy for Small Businesses and Small Merchants held at Youth Startup Maru on the 12th.

Organized by the Gangbuk-gu Small Business and Small Merchant Association (Chairman Seokyeop Ban), this course is a free educational program for small merchants and prospective entrepreneurs. The 14th session has a total of 28 participants who will learn marketing, legal knowledge, basic taxation, leadership, labor knowledge, and essential management over eight weeks.

Mayor Lee said, "I hope this period will be one of diligent learning and communication for successful operation," adding, "We will prepare various support measures so that small businesses and small merchants can successfully become self-reliant and revitalize the local economy."
