On the 8th, the Gyeongbuk Ulleung-gun Health and Medical Center conducted the '2023 Rapid Response Team Disaster Medical Response Tabletop Exercise,' organized by the Gyeongbuk Emergency Medical Support Center, targeting the Health and Medical Center's Rapid Response Team.
The exercise was led by the director of the Ulleung-gun Health and Medical Center. It focused on recognizing the roles of the Rapid Response Team, systematizing their tasks, and enhancing disaster site response capabilities such as the establishment and operation of on-site emergency medical stations, as well as strengthening efficient disaster medical response capabilities.

The exercise simulated disaster scenarios caused by building collapse and fire, conducting both theoretical and practical training. To systematically provide necessary medical support at disaster sites, tasks were divided into classification, treatment, and transport teams according to priority, enabling specialized training in preparation for real situations.
Nam Han-kwon, the county governor, stated, “The role of the Rapid Response Team is very important at disaster sites with multiple casualties,” and added, “We will do our best to protect the precious lives of our residents through regular training.”
