At the Cheongsong-gun Agricultural Technology Center in Gyeongbuk, cooking education is being conducted for members of the Our Food Research Association to promote the development of locally specialized food products.

The training period runs from June 5 to 13, with a total of three sessions, and about five additional cooking classes are planned for the second half of the year.
This education program was prepared to contribute to the inheritance and discovery of traditional food culture by utilizing Cheongsong's representative specialty, apples. It features nine menus including apple sauce tteokgalbi, wild vegetable apple tangsuyuk, and apple nut hotteok, receiving great responses from members for creatively incorporating apples into everyday dishes unique to Cheongsong.
In particular, the third session's menu, apple sauce tteokgalbi, will provide recipes and know-how so that housewives and restaurant operators among the members can easily apply it.
The local dishes can be experienced at the 17th Cheongsong Apple Festival to be held in November.
The Our Food Research Association plans to operate exhibition and tasting booths to actively promote the diversity and excellence of Cheongsong's local cuisine to visitors.
Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, “I hope that by developing various types of foods and recipes that highlight Cheongsong's characteristics using local specialties, it will help promote Cheongsong-gun's high-quality agricultural products and increase farmers' income through various events.”
