Gokseong-gun Office Bowling Team Wins Overall Championship at National Corporate Bowling Tournament

Player Kim Hyun-mi wins two gold medals in Masters singles competition

The women's bowling team of Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced on the 9th that they won the overall championship at the 25th Korea Corporate Bowling Federation President's National Corporate Bowling Tournament.

The tournament was held from May 28 to June 8 at the World Cup Bowling Stadium in Sangju-si, Gyeongbuk, with 14 corporate bowling teams from across the country participating.

At the tournament, the Gokseong-gun Office bowling team secured the overall championship as player Kim Hyun-mi won two gold medals in the women's individual event and the Masters.

The runner-up was Ulsan City Hall with 1 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medals, while the Seoul Facilities Corporation team took third place overall with 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal.

Gokseong-gun Office bowling team coach Kang Dae-yeon said, "We were able to achieve the great feat of overall victory by demonstrating excellent skills in the individual events. We will prepare even harder to achieve good results in the team events at the next tournament."
