‘Jungnang-gu Disaster Safety Situation Room’ Opens to Protect Residents' Safety 24 Hours a Day

Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) opened the ‘Jungnang-gu Disaster Safety Situation Room’ on the afternoon of the 8th to protect residents' safety 24 hours a day.


The ‘Jungnang-gu Disaster Safety Situation Room’ was established to strengthen a proactive and preventive disaster management safety system, enabling rapid response to various accidents or disasters that may occur in the area. Disaster specialists have been newly hired to operate the facility continuously 24/7.


Located on the 3rd floor of the district office, the Disaster Safety Situation Room enhances the existing CCTV control system by integrating the National Disaster Management System (NDMS) functions, allowing swift response to various types of disasters and establishing a cooperative system for real-time joint response with related agencies such as the police and fire departments.


Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, stated, “Going forward, the Jungnang-gu Disaster Safety Situation Room will serve as a guardian protecting the well-being of residents and the community.” He added, “We will prioritize residents' safety and do our best to create a safe city where people can live with peace of mind.”
