Yoo is accused of using a total of five types of narcotics, including marijuana, cocaine, ketamine, zolpidem, and propofol. However, it is known that he denies the charges of using four types of narcotics except for marijuana.
The Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency applied for an arrest warrant for Yoo on the 19th of last month, and the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office requested it on the 22nd of last month.
The police stated that among Yoo's accomplices, they have obtained an arrest warrant for a YouTuber who fled overseas, have invalidated the passport, and requested an Interpol notice, and that the remaining 18 people will be sent sequentially.
Earlier, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety requested an investigation by the police, stating that there is evidence that Yoo habitually used propofol. It was investigated that Yoo used more than 4,400 ml of propofol over a total of 73 times in 2021. The police believe that Yoo used propofol more than 100 times.
