Lee Sang-kwon, the newly appointed Head of Construction at Busan Port Authority (BPA), received a work report after his inauguration and inspected the progress status and safety management conditions at construction sites.
Lee Sang-kwon held his inauguration ceremony at the BPA headquarters on the 1st and officially began his duties.
In his inaugural speech, the Head of Construction stated that he would prioritize the promotion of safe and eco-friendly smart port construction.

During this site inspection, he visited major construction sites commissioned by Busan Port Authority, including the Busan New Port West Container Terminal construction project, the New Port North 'Con' Phase 2 hinterland development project, the New Port South 'Con' hinterland development project, and the Gamcheon Port general wharf expansion project, to check the progress status and safety management conditions. Afterwards, at a meeting with construction stakeholders, he emphasized encouraging workers and spreading a culture of integrity.
Lee Sang-kwon, Head of Construction, said, “Safety activities at construction sites can never be overemphasized,” adding, “Going forward, we will strengthen field-centered management activities to further solidify the port construction safety system and secure the highest quality of construction.”
