Daegu City Operates Visiting 'Good Job Bus'... Hiring Caregivers and Nursing Assistants

Daegu City will operate the comprehensive on-the-go employment counseling service for all women seeking jobs, the "Good Job Bus," on the 12th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Dong-A Department Store Suseong Branch (Daegu Metro Line 3, Beommul Station Exit 4).


This event is hosted by the Suseong Women's New Employment Center and involves 13 companies planning to hire 21 women. It will proceed with direct hiring (3 companies, 5 people) through on-site interviews and indirect hiring (10 companies, 16 people) by recommending job seekers to the respective companies.

The job categories for direct and indirect female employment on the day include nursing assistants, essay instructors, social workers, hospital meal cooks, cleaners, caregivers, programmers, home/facility care workers, and product packers.


The companies conducting on-site interviews for hiring are Haetbit Jae-ga Elderly Care Center, Jion Postpartum Care Center, and Darae Welfare Center. Indirect hiring companies include Jihye's Forest, Neulpureun Jae-ga Elderly Care Center, Suseong Jungdong Hospital, Cheonju Seongsam Nursing Home, Woojin General Management, Daegu City Elderly Specialized Hospital, Mujigae Research Institute, Ewha Daycare, Seumail Jae-ga Elderly Welfare Center, and e-Hayanbada, totaling 10 companies.


The event offers various free employment support services such as one-on-one customized employment counseling considering each job seeker's age and career interruption period, provision of job vacancy and job seeker information, on-site interviews, and career interruption prevention campaigns. The Employment and Welfare+ Center will also participate to promote the National Employment Support System.


Notably, this event is held at Dong-A Department Store Suseong Branch, located near a subway station, to enhance accessibility for local job seekers. Events such as a coffee truck will be operated for participants hoping to register for jobs and receive career counseling, and registrants will be given souvenirs to encourage job-seeking motivation.


If visiting the site on the day is difficult, contacting the Suseong Women's New Employment Center will provide customized job counseling considering career, age, and desired job type, employment linkage, and post-employment follow-up services.


The Good Job Bus & Cafe, visiting different regions, plans to operate a total of 16 times this year. As of last month, after 8 sessions, it has received great responses from female job seekers with 1,169 job registrations through one-on-one counseling, 236 on-site interviews, and 81 successful employments.
