bhc HMR, Nutritious Wang Galbitang and Chicken Breast

bhc has been focusing on the home meal replacement (HMR) market, which is experiencing a rapid increase in demand due to the rise of single-person households and the spread of consumer trends seeking convenient ways to enjoy food. They formed a dedicated team and decided to develop their premium brands, including Changgo43, Keunmam Halmae Sundaeguk, and bhc Chicken, into HMR brands, officially entering the market.

The HMR products offered under the Changgo43 brand include Changgo43 Wang Galbitang, Changgo43 Eotang Kalguksu, and Changgo43 Sogori Gomtang. Changgo43 Wang Galbitang is a nutritious product made with a clear meat broth simmered for a long time, combined with hearty rib bones and generously attached rib meat, capturing the exact taste of the most popular lunch menu item, Wang Galbitang, at Changgo43. Changgo43 Eotang Kalguksu features a rich broth made by simmering fresh freshwater fish with eumnamu (a type of herb) for a long time, seasoned with gochujang (red chili paste) to create a spicy and clean flavor that is exceptional. Changgo43 Sogori Gomtang is a nutritious meal perfect for a hearty dish, made by boiling plenty of beef cheek meat and Korean beef head meat, resulting in a deep and rich taste with a chewy meat texture.


For chicken breast HMR products, there are two types of steaks and two types of cubes, and new products using sauces from bhc Chicken’s signature menu items such as Bburinkle, Matcho King, Deep Curry, and Mapster are being released continuously. These are made from 100% domestically sourced chicken breast. There are four types: sous vide, whole, smoked, and sausage. The sous vide is cooked slowly at a low temperature for a long time, resulting in higher moisture content and a tender texture compared to regular chicken breast. The whole type is steamed, boasting a mild yet juicy flavor. The smoked type is prepared by cooking the chicken breast with smoke, imparting a subtle smoky aroma. The sausage type offers a chewy and springy texture that is very appealing.
