SK C&C Develops Customized 'Smart Safety Management Solution' for Worksites

SK Inc. C&C announced on the 8th that it has developed a ‘Smart Safety Management Solution’ to support safety management and prevent serious accidents at large-scale workplaces and work sites.

The Smart Safety Management Solution was developed as a customized solution for companies requiring safety management at nationwide business sites in manufacturing, distribution, construction, telecommunications, and more. Based on safety-related laws such as the Serious Accident Punishment Act and the Occupational Safety and Health Act, it enables integrated safety management for nationwide business sites that were difficult for business owners to manage. The concept of workplaces and work sites within workplaces was introduced to flexibly apply the safety management system by unit regions.

By adopting the international standard for safety and health management ISO45001, it supports a virtuous cycle-based process including the implementation and operation of safety activities at workplaces, performance evaluation, and improvement activities. It provides an implementation management system for risk assessment, safety inspections, nonconformity improvements, training, and safety accidents tailored to the work site. Using a mobile app, all execution histories and results related to safety inspections and improvements can be conveniently recorded and managed. To enhance safety management convenience, a comprehensive digital dashboard is also provided to check the safety status of workplaces in real time at a glance.

SK Inc. C&C plans to implement Internet of Things (IoT) functions in the Smart Safety Management Solution to secure the safety of on-site workers. A smart control function that can monitor worker location information in real time using IoT sensors will be added. It will also support a mobile CCTV control function for places with high accident risk and where fixed CCTV installation is difficult, as well as smart drone operations to replace high-altitude inspections that are difficult for workers to access.
