Orbitech is showing strong performance. This is interpreted as expectations that sales of portable radiation detectors will increase following the government's announcement to block imports of seafood from Fukushima, Japan.

Since September 2013, the ministry has completely blocked imports of seafood from eight prefectures near Fukushima.
From May to June, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries conducted a full investigation on origin labeling targeting companies handling Japanese products and other items of public concern, with cooperation from the coast guard and local governments. A second full inspection is planned soon.
Earlier in April, the Seoul Metropolitan Government strengthened radiation safety inspections on agricultural and marine products distributed in wholesale markets. The number of simple inspections using portable radiation detectors on agricultural and marine products distributed in markets, which was 420 cases per month last year, was doubled to 840 cases per month. The simple inspection method involves measuring the surface of agricultural and marine products with a portable radiation detector to check for spatial contamination levels.
Meanwhile, Orbitech is a company engaged in nuclear business headquarters, ISI business, and aviation business. Among its products, it owns a portable radiation detector called ‘Radiko’.
