Jeonnam Fire Department Encourages Team Participating in National Firefighting Skills Competition

The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Hong Young-geun) wished success and encouraged the team participating in the 36th National Firefighting Skills Competition.


According to Jeonnam Fire on the 7th, the 36th National Firefighting Skills Competition will be held from the 13th to the 16th at the Central Fire Academy in Gongju, Chungnam.

Teams representing fire headquarters from 19 cities and provinces nationwide will participate, competing fiercely in various skill categories.


Especially this year, the competition will feature various award and demonstration events such as rapid team rescue, rescue dogs, and firefighting drones.


Jeonnam Fire will send 35 representatives to compete in 12 events including fire, rescue, emergency medical services, and the strongest firefighter.


Team representative Fire Officer Lee Yang-jae stated, “Having prepared for over two months since April, I will perform to the best of my ability in top condition and proudly showcase the skills we have honed to raise the prestige of Jeonnam Fire nationwide.”


Chief Hong Young-geun said, “I commend the hard work of the team representing Jeonnam, and the skills you have developed directly contribute to public safety. Please do your best safely and enjoyably.”
