Sunchang-gun to Recruit Vendors for 'Haengbok Sunchang Mall' Until the 20th

On the 7th, Sunchang-gun, Jeonbuk announced that it is recruiting vendors ahead of the opening of its own online shopping mall, ‘Haengbok Sunchang Mall,’ scheduled for early next month to expand sales channels for excellent local agricultural and specialty products.

‘Haengbok Sunchang Mall’ is a newly planned online shopping mall this year aimed at securing a stable sales channel to sell Sunchang agricultural and specialty products to consumers nationwide and enhancing awareness of Sunchang’s representative agricultural products.

Applicants must have a business location in the county and be producers or sellers who cultivate, produce, or process agricultural products, livestock products, or forest products within the county. Eligible items for entry include agricultural and specialty products produced in the county, raw materials of agricultural and specialty products produced within the county, and processed foods.

Once the recruitment of vendors is complete, the county plans to offer various promotions and discounts on agricultural and specialty products produced in the county as part of an opening event.

The application period is until the 20th, and applicants must visit the administrative welfare center in their business location’s eup or myeon with the application form and required documents to apply.

County Governor Choi Young-il said, “By utilizing an online platform to sell local agricultural and specialty products directly to consumers nationwide, we will simplify distribution stages to offer reasonable prices to consumers and new sales channels to producers.”

He added, “We will actively respond to the increasingly diversified changes in the distribution environment and spare no support to vitalize Haengbok Sunchang Mall for the sales channels of local specialty products.”
