AI search platform startup Liner announced on the 7th that it has launched a generative web search service, becoming the first domestic tech company to do so.

Liner's generative web search understands the user's intent and provides the most accurate answers in complete sentences. When a user enters a query into the Liner platform's search bar, the AI quickly organizes and summarizes content relevant to the search purpose, immediately showing the necessary parts. It also displays reference materials that support the answers, enabling users to obtain accurate and reliable search data. Most notably, when Liner is installed as an extension on browsers like Google Chrome, an AI icon follows the entire web search process and shows results whenever desired.

Liner combined generative AI technologies including GPT-4 with a user database spanning over 160 countries worldwide. Through generative web search, it delivers optimal results tailored to user intent based on the search and content consumption records of its 10 million Liner users. To innovate the search experience, an AI tooltip (artificial intelligence assistant) is also integrated into web search. For search results that require summarization, translation, or additional questions, users can conveniently highlight sentences by dragging and call the AI to immediately perform the desired function.
