Two Large Vehicles Collide on Changnyeong National Road... One Vehicle Completely Burned, One Person Dead

At around 10:12 a.m. on the 7th, two vehicles collided on a national highway near Docheon-myeon, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam, resulting in one fatality.

According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, a 25-ton bulk concrete trailer (BCT) traveling toward Changwon collided with a 25-ton trailer that was stopped on the shoulder due to a breakdown. As a result of the accident, a fire broke out in one of the vehicles, completely engulfing it, and the driver of the bulk trailer died.

Fifteen pieces of equipment, including fire trucks and ambulances, and 45 firefighters were dispatched to the scene and extinguished the fire within about 30 minutes. Police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
