The Chuksan Port 100th Anniversary Treasure Ship Project was planned to reflect on the historical significance of Chuksan Port, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year, to reexamine the value of Chuksan Port, and to create cultural tourism momentum to revitalize Chuksan Port through newly discovered humanities resources.

Among them, "Yeongdeok, Chuksan Port Resident Exploration Team: The Chuksan Port I Met" will be responsible for discovering cultural resources containing the history, figures, and stories of Chuksan Port and recording them through various media.

The historical and humanities resources collected by the resident exploration team will be widely used as a cornerstone for the future of Chuksan Port.

The Chuksan Port resident exploration team is open to any Yeongdeok residents interested in Chuksan Port, recruiting participants in two fields: photography and video. Participants will complete their works through lectures by field experts, on-site exploration, and mentoring for work enhancement. Selected resident explorers will also receive a modest activity allowance.

A representative from the Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation said, "This program will be a task to remember the past history of Chuksan Port, which has continued for 100 years, revive the meaning of today, and leave records for the future," adding, "We look forward to the various aspects of Chuksan Port captured from the perspective of the residents. We hope many residents will take interest and participate."

"Yeongdeok, Chuksan Port Resident Exploration Team: The Chuksan Port I Met" is recruiting participants among Yeongdeok residents until June 17. The exploration period will start with a workshop on June 20 and continue until the end of July.

Applications can be submitted via email, and detailed information is available on the Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation website.
