Daejeon City Repaves Roads in 13 Sections of Yuseong and Daedeok Districts

Daejeon City announced on the 5th that it will complete the repaving project for 13 road sections in Yuseong-gu and Daedeok-gu by the end of this month.

The repaving project is carried out by selecting sections with heavy traffic and severe road surface deterioration.

The target areas are ▲ Yuseong-daero (Jangjaeul Samgeori ~ Chungnyeolsa Samgeori) ▲ Yuseong-daero 645beon-gil (Bongmyeong-dong 558-10 ~ Bongmyeong-dong 557-19) ▲ Munji-ro (Daedeok Tunnel ~ Doryong Samgeori) ▲ Daedeok-daero (Doryong Samgeori ~ Research Complex Intersection) ▲ Gajeong-ro (Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science ~ Dareumgogae Samgeori) ▲ Sintanjin-ro (Sangseo-dong 834-14 ~ Sangseo-dong 349-92) ▲ Munpyeongseo-ro (Daedeok Industrial Complex Intersection area), etc.

Daejeon City plans to minimize inconvenience to citizens by providing advance notice of the construction schedule, securing detour routes, and temporarily halting construction during commuting hours.

Park Je-hwa, Director of the Construction Management Headquarters of Daejeon City, said, “We will promptly complete the repaving work to minimize citizen inconvenience such as traffic congestion.”
