Hampyeong-gun Expands Thank-You Gifts for Hometown Love Donation Program

Two New Types Added: Home Fire Safety Kits and Beolcho Delegation Services

Hampyeong-gun has expanded the list of hometown love donation return gifts by reflecting donor demand.

On the 5th, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it has newly selected two items as hometown love donation return gifts: the ‘Home Fire Safety Package’ and the ‘Grass Cutting Proxy Service’.

The ‘Home Fire Safety Package’ was proposed by the Hampyeong Fire Station and is a service item combining the installation of fire safety equipment and fire safety education.

If the donor selects an address within Hampyeong as the delivery destination, a Hampyeong Fire Station staff member will visit the house in person to install fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment and provide safety education.

The grass cutting proxy service is provided by the Hampyeong-gun Forestry Cooperative, where donors can use discount coupons obtained through points earned from donations to utilize the grass cutting proxy service.

In particular, it is expected to gain great popularity by reducing the time and economic burden for expatriate natives who have ancestral graves in Hampyeong but find it difficult to cut the grass themselves.

Mayor Lee Sang-ik said, “We will continue to discover differentiated return gifts so that the hometown love donation system can be successfully established.”

Meanwhile, Hampyeong-gun currently offers 80 types of 43 items as hometown love donation return gifts, with the most preferred gifts by donors being Hampyeong Love Gift Certificates (29%), Hampyeong Cheonji Hanwoo Beef (13%), and Mixed Grain Sets (10%), respectively.
