A taxi crashed on a road near Seoul Station, injuring 10 people.
On the 5th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that at around 2:43 p.m. the previous day, a taxi driven by a driver in his 70s, Mr. A, collided with four vehicles and pedestrians on a three-lane one-way road on Cheongpa-ro, Seoul.
The vehicle first hit two cars ahead, then crossed the center line and struck a stopped vehicle and pedestrians. As a result of the accident, five vehicles were damaged, and five drivers including Mr. A, as well as five pedestrians, were injured. Among the injured, one person was seriously hurt while getting out of a taxi on the opposite side and was transported to the hospital. However, it is reported that there is no serious threat to life.
It was confirmed that Mr. A was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
