Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jung Won-oh) announced that it will hold a special lecture titled “Checking Global Financial Market Issues through Inflation and Interest Rates” at 7 PM on the 8th in the 3rd floor auditorium of the district office.

This special lecture will invite Oh Geon-young, team leader of Shinhan Bank WM Business Division and an expert in global economic analysis, to provide a comprehensive overview of major issues in the global financial market, focusing on inflation and interest rates, which are key variables.

Known as “God Geon-young” and “Top Financial Lecturer,” Team Leader Oh Geon-young is a well-known YouTuber who explains complex economic issues and terminology in an easy-to-understand manner, and also appears as an economic expert on various TV programs.

The lecture will focus on key issues such as inflation and interest rates that deserve attention in the financial market, helping participants understand their impact on the financial market and the overall influence on the global economy.

For residents who find it difficult to attend in person, the district will also provide a recorded version of the online lecture. The online viewing period is from the 12th of this month until the end of August, and simultaneous registration for both the in-person and online lectures is not allowed.

The lecture is open to all residents and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis through the Seongdong-gu website. “Seongdong Knowledge University to Empower Life” is a lifelong education program operated in collaboration with the humanities and economics specialized YouTube channel SamproTV, inviting top experts from various fields such as humanities, economics, and society to provide high-quality lectures tailored to residents’ level.
