Professor Lee Sujeong, Criminal Psychology
"No Signs of Anxiety or Emotional Disturbance Found"
A crime expert diagnosed Jeong Yujeong (23), who is accused of murdering a woman she first met through a tutoring intermediary app and then mutilating and disposing of the body, with 'borderline personality disorder.'
According to closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, immediately after the murder, Jeong Yujeong calmly and briskly walked while dragging a travel suitcase (carrier) containing the body. The analysis indicates no signs of anxiety or emotional disturbance.

Professor Lee Sujeong of the Department of Criminal Psychology at Kyonggi University appeared on YTN's 'News Wide' on the 3rd and described the footage as a scene that reveals 'personality disorder factors.'
Professor Lee analyzed, "That appearance is very likely another side of Jeong Yujeong (apologizing to the bereaved family). Her steps are very light. It looks like she is working very hard to achieve a goal she has set for herself."
She continued, "The problem is that this is after the murder has already occurred, so it is an unusually bright demeanor. Usually, even criminals get very flustered and fearful, thinking 'What do I do now?' after killing someone, but that footage shows no fear or confusion."
Professor Lee added, "I anticipate that the prosecution will conduct psychological analysis later," and said, "It is a very unique scene that leads me to suspect not just a simple 'psychopath,' but rather borderline personality disorder, which shows some personality disorder factors."
She also mentioned 'stealing the victim's identity' as a motive for the crime. In an interview with MBC, Professor Lee explained, "(The victim) was a popular tutor online. It seems Jeong tried to steal this woman's identity as a way to overcome her own handicap."
Jeong Yujeong was arrested on the 29th of last month on charges of murder after she allegedly went to Mr. A's house dressed in a school uniform around 5:30 p.m. on the 26th of last month, killed him with a weapon, mutilated the body, and disposed of part of it by the Nakdong River.
