KRX National Happiness Foundation Donates Sponsorship to Salgu Senior Free Meal Center

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that the KRX National Happiness Foundation donated 3 million KRW in cash and cooking utensils worth 700,000 KRW to the Salgu Senior Free Meal Center (Director Park Yang-hee).

The donation ceremony took place on the 2nd at the center, attended by Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, Song Yoon-hee, Manager of the KRX National Happiness Foundation, and Park Yang-hee, Director of the center.

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, along with employees of the Korea Exchange and the KRX National Happiness Foundation, also participated in volunteer activities such as meal serving, organizing ingredients, dishwashing, and floor cleaning.

The KRX National Happiness Foundation is a welfare foundation under the Korea Exchange. In 2021, it donated 3 million KRW in cash for book purchases to a local children's center in Geumcheon-gu.

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “We thank the employees of the KRX National Happiness Foundation who have come together for the Salgu Senior Free Meal Center,” and added, “We ask for your continued interest in Geumcheon-gu in the future.”
