Yu Wang-yoon, CEO of Two Hands Interactive, donated an augmented reality indoor exercise platform worth 20 million KRW, ‘DIDIM’, to Dong-A University and signed a business agreement.
According to the agreement, Dong-A University’s Digital Healthcare Research Institute and Two Hands Interactive will collaborate on developing digital therapeutic technologies that contribute to the prevention of geriatric diseases through research verifying the effectiveness of a complex exercise cognition intervention program using contactless LIDAR sensing technology and augmented reality, as well as fostering talent in health exercise science and regulatory science.
‘DIDIM’ combines physical training, brain training, and health game content, providing an augmented reality-based exercise program that can be used diversely according to age and purpose, from youth to seniors, including growth exercises, obesity prevention, and dementia prevention.
Dong-A University will install ‘DIDIM’ at the ‘D-Square’ Smart Healthcare Living Lab on the Seunghak Campus to utilize it for education and research and development aimed at nurturing talent in the fields of smart healthcare and health exercise science.
