Hampyeong-gun Conducts Hairdressing Volunteer Service for Seniors

Hampyeong-gun Volunteer Center conducted a visiting hairdressing volunteer activity for the elderly at the county nursing hospital on the 1st.

According to the county on the 2nd, this volunteer activity was carried out through the talent donation of members of the Hampyeong-gun Hairdressing Volunteer Association (President Kim Yeon-im).

On that day, the members neatly styled the hair of elderly people with physical difficulties and kept them company while checking on their well-being.

Elderly Mr. Kim said, "It was difficult to go to the hair salon due to my physical condition, but I am grateful that the volunteers came directly to the hospital to style my hair."

Kim Yeon-im, president of the Hampyeong-gun Hairdressing Volunteer Association, said, "Seeing the elderly happy was very rewarding," and added, "We will continue volunteer activities whenever possible."

Jung Soon-yong, head of the Resident Welfare Division, stated, "We thank the members of the Hampyeong-gun Hairdressing Volunteer Association for delivering warm hands of kindness to our neighbors."

Meanwhile, since its establishment in 2007, the Hampyeong-gun Hairdressing Volunteer Association has been donating hairdressing talents to help neighbors in need throughout the local community for 16 years.
