Inseong Information is showing strong performance. Amid a reevaluation trend of medical artificial intelligence (AI) companies in the domestic stock market, interest in Inseong Information appears to be growing.
As of 11:25 AM on the 2nd, Inseong Information is trading at 3,750 KRW, up 12.44% from the previous day.
Lunit, a leading domestic medical AI company, has recently continued its upward stock price trend. Its market capitalization has surpassed 1.2 trillion KRW.
Founded in 1992, Inseong Information is a comprehensive IT service provider. It began its healthcare business in the early 2000s, when the term 'healthcare' was still unfamiliar, integrating IT technology into healthcare.
In collaboration with university research institutions and hospitals, it is developing and advancing AI-based respiratory analysis algorithms capable of identifying upper respiratory infections and pneumonia. It has also secured the necessary intellectual property rights. The plan is to combine these with existing platforms to provide more necessary and differentiated services to patients, thereby securing a user base. By analyzing extensive patient data, it aims to discover various AI service models and apply them in the field, with expectations to grow into a global medical service platform company.
To enter the world's largest market, the United States, it has continued investments over a long period. After attending exhibitions and conferences continuously for eight years, it participated in the first phase of the remote home care project for veterans conducted by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in 2017. Inseong Information established the HighCareNet U.S. corporation last year and is targeting the U.S. telemedicine market. HighCareNet also participates in the second phase of the remote home care project for veterans conducted by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
HighCareNet is jointly participating in the research on building and practical application of big data tracking for high-risk dementia groups under the '2023 Bio-Medical Technology Development Project' promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Research Foundation of Korea. HighCareNet is responsible for constructing an open integrated dementia-related database (DB) and developing the platform. It plans to build a DB platform by integrating and standardizing multi-cohort biomedical data such as brain imaging, neuropsychological behavior, genomics, blood, gait, and eye movement. In the future, it will also be responsible for developing data distribution services using the open DB platform and global commercialization of AI-based early dementia prediction services.
