Jiji Auction 40th Anniversary Special Lecture 'This Year is Auction Year' Held

Gigi Auction announced on the 2nd that it will hold a special lecture commemorating its 40th anniversary under the theme "This Year, Let's Auction."

In this lecture, experts from various fields will address recent issues in the real estate and auction markets and share corresponding investment strategies.

The first session, titled "Where is the Real Estate Market Headed," will feature Ham Young-jin, Head of the Big Data Lab at Zigbang, delivering a lecture on real estate investment strategies. The second session, under the theme "Turning Crisis into Opportunity through Auctions," will be presented by Lee Joo-hyun, a specialist at Gigi Auction. The third session will be led by Kim Jae-beom, CEO of Ray Auction, with "Auction Master’s Know-how: Strategies and Pitfalls of Commercial Property Investment," followed by the fourth session by Lee Chang-dong, Head of Data Strategy Planning at Gigi Auction, titled "Auctions Now Powered by Big Data."

To commemorate the 40th anniversary, all attendees will receive an auction cartoon postcard book and various gifts. Through a raffle, prizes such as 10-year and 1-year memberships granting unlimited access to nationwide auction and public sale information, as well as accommodation vouchers for Gyeongju Gigi Hotel operated by Gigi Auction, will be offered.

Director Kang of Gigi Auction stated, "This special lecture is a step to reflect on Gigi Auction’s past 40 years and move forward in a better direction," adding, "We will continue to develop as a specialized company responsible not only for auction and public sale information but also for data."

The special lecture will be held on Saturday the 17th, starting at 12 PM, at the Grand Theater of Konkuk University’s Millennium Hall. Applications can be made online through the Gigi Auction website.
