Kakao Style Launches First Operation at The Hyundai Seoul
Kakao Style announced on the 2nd that the first offline pop-up store of the style commerce platform Zigzag, opened at The Hyundai Seoul, has attracted a cumulative total of 20,000 visitors over the past week since the 25th of last month.
The Zigzag pop-up store is designed with the motif of the ‘pink delivery box,’ which symbolizes the shopping experience on Zigzag and serves as a medium connecting customers. A total of 22 shopping malls and fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands participated. The pop-up store showcases newly released products and Zigzag-exclusive items for the first time.
The company explained that the pop-up store sees an average of more than 2,500 visitors per day, with over 4,000 visitors on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and the substitute holiday Monday, creating situations where visitors have to wait in line.
Online and offline linked shopping is also available. Scanning the QR code attached to the products connects customers to the detailed product page, and they can easily purchase items through Jet Payment, Zigzag’s integrated payment system. Additional discount benefits are available when purchasing products, and customers can receive their items by the evening of the same day or the next morning through the fast delivery service called Jikjin Delivery.
A Kakao Style representative said, "The explosive popularity seems to be due to the fact that customers can see and purchase products that were previously only available online, and the various participatory operation methods where customers can complete missions and receive benefits themselves."
