Busan Facilities Corporation and the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation Busan Regional Headquarters held a hand rice planting experience event on the morning of the 1st at the donation forest rice paddy in Busan Citizens Park to mark the beginning of the rice planting season.
The rice planting experience event allows city residents to directly experience hand rice planting to appreciate farmers and the importance of agriculture, understanding the process of how rice goes from the field to the dining table. This event, now in its third year, was organized through cooperation between the Corporation and the Agricultural Cooperative.
The experience site provided children with the opportunity to try hand rice planting and explained the planting methods and the growth process of rice, helping them understand how rice grows and becomes food, serving as a field education site to raise awareness of the importance of agriculture.
