One veteran who participated in the event said, “Due to COVID-19, it was difficult to engage in outdoor activities, and with mobility issues, it was not easy to travel. Being able to spend time with other veterans at such a meaningful place will remain a lifelong memory.”
Hyosung Chairman Cho Hyun-joon said, “We express our respect and gratitude to the veterans who dedicated and sacrificed themselves to protect the country,” adding, “We will strive to pass on their value to future generations.”
Hyosung supports the ‘Nara Sarang Bogumjari’ project, which provides housing support for national veterans. Earlier, on the 24th of last month, employees visited the National Seoul Cemetery to carry out grave site cleaning activities, among various social contribution efforts for national defense and veterans affairs.
